How often should the air-cooled island of a thermal power plant be cleaned?

Power plant air-cooled island cleaning. Air-cooled island cleaning is divided into physical cleaning (high-pressure water jet cleaning of the air-cooled island) and chemical cleaning (acid washing of the air-cooled island). The number of cleanings is closely related to the usage. Generally, physical cleaning (high-pressure water jet cleaning of the air-cooled island) needs to be performed about 4 times a year, or even more. Chemical cleaning (acid washing of the air-cooled island) is usually performed once a year. In addition, air-cooled island cleaning requires qualifications and performance records.

Methods and precautions for adjusting air-cooled power plant units in winter?

Reduce the fan speed according to the decreasing exhaust temperature. If the temperature is too low, ensure that the decrease in condensate temperature in each section is not too large, generally not lower than 10°C below the saturation temperature at the corresponding pressure. If the temperature is too low, reduce the fan speed to a very low level, and stop the fans in each section in turn for a period of time, each time for about 5 minutes.

How many major categories are there in power plant air cooling systems?

The exhaust steam from the turbine is transported through large steam pipes to the finned tubes of the air-cooled heat exchanger. Cold air absorbs the heat released during the condensation of steam on the inner walls of the finned tubes in the power plant air-cooled system, and directly discharges the heat into the surrounding atmosphere. In this way, the low-pressure steam is condensed in the finned tubes, and under the action of gravity, this condensate flows into the condensate tank. Then, a pump draws it back to the power plant system from the condensate tank. Due to the different ventilation methods used on the air side, power plant air-cooling systems are divided into forced-draft direct air-cooling systems and natural-draft direct air-cooling systems.

What is a power plant air cooling system?

The function of a power plant air cooling system is to use air instead of water to condense the steam turbine in a thermal power plant, condensing the exhaust steam from the low-pressure cylinder of the steam turbine into condensate, thus completing a work cycle and entering the next work cycle.

Types of power plant dry cooling systems

Air cooler is the abbreviation of air-cooled heat exchanger. Compared with water-cooled heat exchangers, air coolers have the advantages of corrosion resistance, compact structure, long life, simple operation, less pollution, good working environment and water saving (up to 80%).

How to choose a power station air cooling system

Temperature conditions. In severely cold regions, direct air cooling systems should be prioritized. Severely cold regions refer to areas where the average temperature of the coldest month over many years is below -10℃. After comprehensive comparison, if an indirect air cooling system is indeed required, especially in extremely cold regions, anti-freezing measures need to be studied in detail.
