What are the differences between direct air cooling and indirect air cooling in thermal power plants?
Release Time:
20 Jun,2019
Direct air cooling and indirect air cooling both refer to cooling methods for circulating water. Direct air cooling uses air-cooled islands with large fans and heat dissipation surfaces to cool the water. You can look at the Suzhou Power Plant for an example. Indirect air cooling uses an indirect cooling tower (similar in appearance to a cooling tower). The bottom of the indirect cooling tower has indirect cooling triangles, and the air convection inside and outside the tower cools the water. You can look at pictures of the 660,000 kW unit at the Shaanxi Qinling Power Plant for an example.
