Two 60MW natural ventilation convection towers, designed, manufactured, and installed by our company in Yulin, Shaanxi Province, will have their first phase generating electricity by the end of this year, while the second phase is still under installation and construction. Natural ventilation convection towers offer the following advantages:
1. Compared with traditional water-cooled units, this technology saves 98% of water and 100% of electricity.
2. With no operating equipment, there is no energy consumption, no operating noise, and the tall convection tower completely avoids the influence of hot air circulation.
3. The use of natural convection direct air-cooling towers has obvious advantages. However, the initial investment of a convection tower is 25%-45% higher than that of an air-cooled island, but the additional cost can be recovered within 3 to 5 years of operation, and the economic benefits of the power plant can be improved.
